The firm is registered by Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia (Ministry of Finance, Malaysia) as Licensed Land Surveyors for the both the supply of consultancy in survey and mapping and the supply of services and products that included airborne photogrammetric and LiDAR mapping, high-resolution satellite imageries and digital computing and mapping systems. The firm is also licensed by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) to provide onshore and offshore survey services in Malaysia in relation to the oil and gas industry. |

| Geometra Surveys Sdn Bhd was incorporated in August 1979 and commenced operation shortly thereafter. Its current owners are both Malaysians and are professionally qualified surveyors. Haji Mohd Nordin bin Haji Sabran is a surveyor licensed under the Licensed Land Surveyors Act, 1958 (Act 458) (Revised 1991), a Fellow and Past President of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia, a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Association of Authorised Land Surveyors Malaysia. He is a graduate from what is now University of East London, United Kingdom in 1972 and holds a Master of Science qualification from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Mohd Hairul Said is a Member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, graduated from University of Technology Malaysia in 1989, and joined the company shortly after graduation. | |||||
